                      BULLETIN BOARD DECORATION
The bulletin board is a beautiful display of our class' vivid imagination and creativity and is regularly updated for various occasions. For the auspicious occasion of Carmel Feast that falls on 16th July, the class board depicted various incidents from the life of Mother Veronica that left a deep impact on humanity and the values she has taught us through them. It beautifully unfurls the valued milestones that constitute CARMEL. We are blessed to be Carmelites and will continue to do our bit to spread the values imbibed in us by our esteemed institution.

INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY
The 12th of August was celebrated as the International Youth Day in Carmel Convent School. Grade XI (A, B, C) lead the stage show.
The show was opened with a short speech shedding light on the Spirit of Youth, which was followed by the lighting of the lamp by the Principal, Sr. Swati, and the members of the Cabinet. The prayer service laid emphasis on extracts from different Holy Scriptures stressing on the importance and power of youth.
A motivational power point presentation was shown to encourage students to work hard and dream big, after which, the students of classes XI C and XI B sang a medley of songs that represented the positivity and hope that youth brings. The stage was hen taken over by a student of class XI C who went on to give a speech in Hindi about the perception of youth by society versus the actual reason behind their restlessness. She spoke about how the youth may adopt a modern lifestyle but in basic essence they still want to improve their own country and are well aware of their responsibilities. Next was a play by the students of class XI A which inspired students to keep their eyes on their goal and not be held back by stereotypical norms of the ideal profession. The show was ended with a beautiful dance prepared by the students of class XI B portraying the change in youth over the decades.
Finally, a closing speech was given by the Principal, Sr. Swati, motivating the students to become responsible citizens and to do their bit towards peace and harmony for a better tomorrow.
